CIMAD 2025
Presented my paper titled
‘From Discard to Design: Indian Handcrafted Textiles and Embroidery in Circular Fashion’ at the International Conference on Arts & Crafts and Design – CIMAD 2025 held in Saint-Étienne and Lyon, France.
This work is a culmination of my research and practice-based inquiry into how Indian textile crafts such as Kantha, Sujni, Phulkari, Rafoogari, and Ikat have been practising principles of circularity, zero-waste, and emotional durability long before these terms became part of global sustainability discourse.
